Making pets the stars of the show

The Boomerang Pet Personality Awards confirmed our understanding of our audience and their love of animals. We know that the kids we target with Boomerang are mad about their pets, which is why the awards are so successful. To further engage with our audience for the whole year (and not just when we are running the awards), we launched Boomerang's 'Pet of the Week'.

Viewers are invited to upload images or videos of their pets to the Boomerang Pet of the Week website and a lucky pet and owner are chosen to be our 'Pet of the Week' and showcased online and on-air.

It has already been phenomenally successful, with well over a thousand entries every single week and hundreds more logging on to see who has won. On-air, the winning pet gets seen on-air about 100 times in its winning week.
