Turner Media Innovations signs D3P as Sponsor of Ben10: Alien Force
Turner Media Innovations has secured interactive games publisher and developer D3 Publisher (D3P) as on-air sponsor of the new series of Ben 10: Alien Force on Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network's new action-animation series, Ben 10: Alien Force, shows Ben 10 now aged 15 and discovering he can turn into a whole new set of crime-fighting aliens.
In a deal negotiated by Turner Media Innovations and Miller Advertising, the sponsorship is to promote a new computer game called 'Ben 10: Alien Force The Video Game', based on the smash hit animation series.
The campaign is set to kick off when the series starts on Monday 16 February and will run until 31 May. It will consist of 10-second sponsorship credits airing around every episode of Ben 10: Alien Force screened during this period.
Adam Eagle, Director of Sponsorship & Promotions at Turner Media Innovations said: "We're delighted to have secured this long term TV sponsorship for the highest rating show on Cartoon Network. D3P initially trialled shorter bursts of TV activity on Cartoon Network to promote 'Ben 10: Protector of Earth The Video Game' last year. A TV spot and online advertising mechanic which drove direct to retail purchase, saw a 25% sales uplift in the course of 1 week during last October half term. We're proud to be gaining ever more sponsorship ground on the back of excellent campaign effectiveness."
"Ben 10: Protector of Earth has been a huge success, shipping over 1 million units across PAL Territories" adds Adam Roberts, European Managing Director of D3P, " We're excited to be the launch sponsor of Ben 10 Alien Force and are sure this sponsorship deal with Cartoon Network will help maximise opportunities for the new Ben 10 videogame."
